I see energy. . .

lifeforce, Prana, aura, flow, radiance, source, Unego, presence, spirit, frequency, Mana, light, essence, Hózhó, resonance, shimmer, Eros, vitality, field, Chi, breath, soul, Manitou, luminance, and Kurunpa.

There is no single word to describe what I see, but these words circle it and point to the mystery.

My work is spontaneous and improvisational, as I paint what I see, feel, and connect with. I am drawn to anything that emanates lifeforce: people, animals, birds, fish, insects, trees, flowers, grass, mushrooms, rivers, oceans, and the living soil beneath our feet.
